About Us

Skilled Hands Home Improvement is a family-owned and operated home remodeling and maintenance service company based in Dallas, Texas. Our story is one of dedication, passion, and a commitment to quality and customer satisfaction.

The Beginning

Skilled Hands Home Improvement was founded in 2018, but its story began much earlier. Luis, originally from Puerto Rico, had been doing maintenance work since he was young. At the age of 13, his father taught him how to install ceiling fans, sparking a passion for home improvement that has stayed with him ever since.

On the other hand, I, Marina, am originally from Mexico and an architect by profession. My experience in 3D design, construction, and project coordination has allowed me to visualize and transform spaces efficiently and aesthetically.

We got married in 2015, and together we shared the dream of creating comfortable and functional homes where every corner is maximized. In 2018, three years after our marriage, we decided to formalize this dream and founded Skilled Hands Home Improvement in Dallas, Texas.

Since then, we have worked hard to help the residents of Dallas and its surrounding areas improve their homes, creating spaces where families can relax and enjoy. Our commitment is to transform every house into a place that feels warm and truly like a home.
